ethos
To work alongside you through the transition into parenthood. Not to 'fix', but to help you feel more held, understood and less alone.
I’m Erin, a perinatal psychologist based on the Sunshine Coast, supporting parents through pregnancy and early parenthood.
Navigating the adjustment to parenthood and the emotional complexities that come with this season of life.
If things feel heavier than you expected, or not quite like you thought they would, you’re not alone in that.
You don’t have to wait until things feel at their hardest to be supported.
It's not just baby who is changing . It's not just baby who is changing . It's not just baby who is changing . It's not just baby who is changing . It's not just baby who is changing . It's not just baby who is changing .
Take a moment to pause here
There’s so much information in this season.
What to buy, what to do and how to find your way in it all.
It can feel overwhelming.
This is a space where I invite you to slow down, to be heard, and to feel held in what you’re navigating.
No fixing. No pressure. Just support.
Take what you need from what's here, leave what feels overwhelming.
You don't have to hold it all on your own
Hi, I am Erin
I’m a perinatal psychologist and mother of three.
My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience. In the quiet moments, the overwhelming ones, and everything in between.
I found my way into this work through a deep recognition of how much the transition into parenthood can hold. Not just in meeting your baby, but in meeting parts of yourself that feel unfamiliar, shifting, or harder to find.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting parents through the emotional and identity changes that come with this season; including adjustment to parenthood, birth experiences, overwhelm, and the often unspoken parts of becoming a parent.
My approach is gentle, reflective, and grounded in self-compassion, mindfulness, and understanding.
Because this isn’t just about supporting your baby.
It’s about supporting you, too.
How I support you
-
1:1 Psychology support
A space to feel supported through the emotional and identity shifts of parenthood. To plan for the fourth trimester, debrief birth, to making sense of the everyday moments.
-
Journaling the first year
Write a highlight a day, celebrate your growth alongside baby, reflect and make meaning of the hard moments. Baby journals that are designed as a support tool for you, and a keepsake for baby,
-
Workshops
Created to be a space where you meet with like minded parents. To explore the stories within your experience. To celebrate, create, feel held. Dates added when workshops become available. In person and online.
Our first year of you
So much of the first year passes in a blur. The days are full of learning, growing, and the quiet, messy moments in between the milestones.
I created this journal from my own experience. I found so much more compassion for myself the more I reflected on day to day moments of gratitude.
This journal is a gentle way to pause, to notice, and to capture the moments, both big and small.
Holding and celebrating your experience alongside your baby’s.
A place to return to, long after this season has passed.
To share their whole story with them as they grow. Not just the highlights.
Choose to approach each moment, the good and the bad, with openness, curiosity and compassion. For one day you may look back and realise they were the big moments you will want to remember forever
